Here's a true story that is kind of funny when looking back!
" A home in Eighty Four, PA had an angled-top window that used glass block instead of regular glass for the windows. The glass block covered the entire spans from the floor to the peak and wall to wall. To make matters worse, this window was in this huge master bathroom with a hot tub and free standing shower; You get the deal. The glass block faced the harshest sun, and like a spy glass to a bug, the room got unbearably hot. It regularly reached temperatures well above 100 degrees, making it impossible to bathe or shower without sweating. This client was looking for a solution that would involve custom window treatments, and in this case, Woodlore Plus composite interior plantation shutters were the best solution. It was tricky because the angles and pitches were different from one side to the other. Careful measurements were taken, and once the interior shutters were installed, the heat was tamed, and the client could now enjoy their hot tub and a hot shower, taking full advantage of their master suite."
